Join us for an exciting evening with Robert H. Lieberman, best-selling novelist, film director, and long-time member of the Physics faculty at Cornell University. We will be discussing his film “They Call It Myanmar: Lifting the Curtain,” filmmaking, and the recent developments in Myanmar.

His film, “They call it Myanmar: Lifting the Curtain," was a New York Times Critics’ Pick and named a top documentary by Chicago Times critic Roger Ebert. The film features Nobel Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi and reveals an eye-opening and insightful view into Myanmar and its history.

Robert H. Lieberman’s work also includes his newly completed film, “Angkor Awakens - A Portrait of Cambodia.” It has been featured in all major US cities and was widely broadcasted on the BBC and Australian television.

He is also working with 5-time Academy Award-nominated producer Didier Brunner, the “Godfather of French Animation.” He has completed the screenplay adaptation of his new novel, “The Nazis, My Father & Me,” which is going into production for a major animated feature.

His novels include: “The Boys of Truxton,” “Baby,” “Paradise Rezoned,” “Gooversville Breakdown,” “Neighbors,” and “Perfect People.”
