Leadership Breakfast Meeting:Navigating Transition

During this discussion, Sarah will invite us to begin exploring what it means to navigate transition at this time of deep change. We will explore how becoming adept in navigating transition is a leadership skill to help us and others navigate the waves of uncertainty, transition, and upheaval.

●        How can exploring the topic of ‘navigating transition’ support our lives and work at this time of deep change … when so much is in flux, and bewildering?

●        How can recalibrating our perception from “navigating chaos” to “navigating transition” nourish our spirit, and mitigate this sense of bewilderment?

●        How are we currently navigating transition and what has been helpful when doing so?

●        How can we recognise that navigating transition is not only present in specific, key transformative cycles such as bereavement, loss of job, transitioning to the third stage of life, etc, but is present, active and ongoing as a ‘life condition’? How might recognising this support our onward transitioning?

●        How can we recognise we are navigating transition at all?

●        Finally, how can deepening awareness and practice around ‘navigating transition’, invite us to lead in ways that empower us, individually and collectively, and serve our work and purpose?

It is also an invitation to recognise that transitions are going on all the time, and we may not very good at navigating them!

Sarah Whiteley began her reflections on navigating transition when working as an outdoor educator and continued when serving in the British Navy. Her journeying led her to question how and where she could offer her best service. Serving helped her understand the importance of staying on course and aligning herself with deeper truth.

Sarah has facilitated previous Leadership Breakfast meetings and Leadership Survival Skills workshops for the HKSNEAA.  She is well known in Europe for her work with individuals and groups supporting transformation in society and organizations. She is Co-initiator and Steward of the Art of Hosting; Co-founder of the Systemic Learning Centre, Axladitsa Avatakia, located in Greece; Co-founder of the Living Wholeness Institute; Co-founder of SIZ-Hellas; and Founder of Conscious Evolution.
