The Honorable Robert P. Ziemian, a retired MA district court judge, and Roberta Leis (MCA/MPA '91), former executive director of the New England Association of District Court Professionals (now the New England Association for Recovery Court Professionals), will share their experiences over 25+ years to establish drug courts as a radical-at-the-time way to address the issues underlying criminal behavior such as drug or alcohol substance use.
