Out panelists will share how they use the frameworks both in their personal and professional lives, discuss wins, challenges, and trends. The discussion will also include opportunities for you to share your experiences.
Speakers
Mr. Faton Limani is passionate about applying Adaptive Leadership and other soft-skills frameworks across sectors to help individuals, teams, and organizations address challenges and solve difficult problems.
Mr. Limani has taught and facilitated leadership courses at Harvard as a Head Teaching Assistant across the USA, Europe, and Asia and coached hundreds of students, corporate executives, and young professionals in the leadership development field. Besides Adaptive Leadership, his work includes several other frameworks, such as Public Speaking, Negotiations, Immunity to Change, Teaming, Design Thinking, Project Management, Strategic Management, and Business Communications.
Prior to Harvard, Mr. Limani worked for a civil contractor company in support of the US Department of Defense on different projects and taught strategic management as an Assistant at the university level in Kosovo, where he was also engaged in local politics, nonprofit and private sector organizations in various leadership roles. He holds Master's degrees in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and in Economics/Management from the University of Prishtina.
Mr. Limani is a Senior Lecturer with the University of Business and Technology College (UBT) in Kosovo, Leadership Instructor for St. Jude’s Graduate School of Biomedical Science, Guest Lecturer with the Albanian-American Development Foundation (AADF), Department Administrator and Teaching Assistant for the Albanian Language Course at Harvard University, and a Founder/CEO of the Leadership Advancement Associates, and Founder/President of the Albanian School - Illyria.
Mr. Manoj Kumar is an accomplished international development and humanitarian professional with 22 years of progressive senior leadership experience with reputed international NGOs in 11 countries across Africa and Asia. He has extensive experience of leading and managing large and highly complex country and regional programs. He has served as Country Director for leading organizations (including Plan International, CARE International, Concern Worldwide, VSO International and BRAC International) in Afghanistan, Sudan, Ethiopia, Malawi, and Sierra Leone. He has also served as Regional Director of VSO International for the Southern Africa Region. He has worked with Save the Children and ActionAid International in India during the tsunami response and Gujarat earthquake response, respectively.
As Regional Director at Nutrition International, Asia, Manoj oversees the development and delivery of the organization’s programs and projects in Asia. He is responsible for ensuring coordination, relevance, and timeliness of the organization’s activities as well as sustaining and forging partnerships with key allies who share a commitment to improving the nutrition status of people around the world. He holds a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government, USA and a Masters in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, India.
